Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and LIFE'S Healing Circle ("LIFE'S Healing Circle", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of our website and online community (the "Service"). By creating an account, paying the registration fee, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Membership eligibility and rules

• You must be at least 18 years old to register and participate.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account details up to date.
• Membership is personal and non-transferable. Do not share your login credentials or allow another person to use your account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your password secure.
• Membership grants access to community areas such as the Affirmation Wall, Share With The Circle, Book of the Month, virtual gatherings, and the Business Spotlight directory. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

3. Payment terms and the $2 fee

• Membership requires a one-time registration fee of $2.00 USD. This is not a subscription — there are no monthly fees and no recurring billing.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We never receive or store your full card details.
• Submitting a listing to the Business Spotlight requires a separate one-time $2.00 USD submission fee. This fee covers review and listing and is charged per submission.
• All fees are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any taxes, bank charges, or currency-conversion fees your provider applies.
• By paying, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

4. Cancellations and refunds

• Because there is no subscription, there is nothing to cancel — you are never billed again after the one-time registration fee.
• You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Closing your account ends your access to member areas.
• If you are unhappy with your membership, contact us at hello@lifeshealingcircle.com within 14 days of your registration payment and we will refund the $2.00 fee.
• Business Spotlight submission fees are non-refundable once a listing has been reviewed. If a listing is declined before review is completed, we will refund the submission fee.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. Fees are not refunded for accounts terminated for violations.

5. Acceptable use

LIFE'S Healing Circle is a warm, judgment-free space. When you participate, you agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or discriminate against any member.
• Post hate speech, sexually explicit material, violent content, or unlawful content.
• Post spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited advertising.
• Present medical, legal, or financial advice as professional diagnosis or prescription.
• Share other members' private information or republish private conversations.
• Upload content you do not own or have permission to share.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any business.

We may remove content, hide posts, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion.

6. Member content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, affirmations, and other content you post. By posting, you grant LIFE'S Healing Circle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share that content within the community and in community highlights, for as long as you keep it posted.

The Service itself — including the LIFE'S Healing Circle name, logo, written copy, imagery, design, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email hello@lifeshealingcircle.com with details and we will investigate promptly.

7. Wellness disclaimer

Content in LIFE'S Healing Circle — including recipes, herbal notes, book discussions, and wellness conversations — is for informational and community purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Always consult your provider before making changes to your diet, herbs, medication, or wellness routine.

8. Business Spotlight listings

Business listings are community spotlights and are not endorsements. We do not verify, guarantee, or take responsibility for the products, services, or claims of any listed business. Any transaction you enter into with a listed business is solely between you and that business.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LIFE'S Healing Circle and its owners and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LIFE'S Healing Circle operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
